Jia of Tea Tell Truth

Jia Li is a Neuroscientist for the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Founder of Tea Tell Truth. Her love affair with tea began when she was a child growing up in the mountainous region of Yunnan in China, where tea originated.

Jai has been hosting tea lectures, tea mindfulness and tea parties with the intention of bringing peace, happiness, and benefit to others. In today’s fast-paced and stressful lifestyle, she believe that spending a few minutes to brew loose tea leaves helps one to connect with the inner-self. Tea is unlike any beverage since it has positive effects on one’s mental and physical health.

Her focus is specifically on ‘Puerh’ Tea, which is a high-quality tea from Yunnan. This tea is made from post fermented tea leaves. Fermentation significantly improves its health benefits.

She continues to study Plant Spirit Healing with Marlow Brooks of Naropa University.

Ashira Satya

Ashira was born and raised in the mountains and desert of Utah. Since she can remember she has felt a connection with the Divine. Her first deep mystical connection being with the practices of her ancestral Judean roots, especially when singing the ancient Hebrew songs.

This affinity led Ashira to Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, where she studied yoga, psychology, and religious studies and graduated with a 1,000 hour yoga teacher training certificate. During her time at Naropa, Ashira immersed herself in studying healing arts, meditation, ikebana, dance, herbal medicine, permaculture and started making her own flower essences.

After graduating Ashira followed a deep calling to return to India and Nepal where she spent most of the next 6 years. In India she continued her studies of Ayurveda in South India, Tantric Yoga by Ma Ganga and was introduced to Jyotish in spontaneous encounters along the way.

In the Himalayas, Ashira met the Buddha Dharma and some of the greatest meditations teachers alive. This led her to find her root teacher, Phakchok Rinpoche and dive into Tibetan Buddhist meditation practices. While in India and Nepal, Ashira started a small non-profit, Mandala Freedom Project teaching yoga, meditation, and healing arts to survivors of human trafficking, and in a small rural village in Nepal where she lived and helped raise money for a birth center.

After many years of traveling, Ashira met her besheret ~ her soulmate, in Upstate New York, and settled down in beautiful Boulder, Colorado with their two puppies, Marley and Maya Devi. In this time of slow living, Ashira has grounded into her studies, practices, and rituals, that have bloomed into her offerings.

Currently Ashira finds herself dancing in the studies of Jewish mysticism, discovering ancestral blessings, leading a womyn’s circle with Lotus Womyn, drinking tea by the river, and enjoying every flower she sees.
